4075J1936 The original engine was a Southern Cross Farm Pumper it has the same SC number on the crank shaft ‘fuel filer plug, flywheel rim, all the housings have Southern Cross on them, The barrel is the only part not SC. The barrel is Rosebery plus the tag on the flywheel. One idea that has been mentioned is that the SC farm pumper was a trade in and Moffat Virtue reconditioned it with a new barrel and machined the letters of the flywheel and put on their tag a bit cheeky. But then they were all cheeky to copy the Fuller & Johnson in the first place Wide Bay Burnett QLD

55351J1957  This engine was given to me by a family friend on 7/4/2016.It was bolted to a bore on "Homebush" about 20 km upsteam of Mitchell when he took over the place in the 1980s.He ran it once years ago then unbolted it & cover it up out near the bore.The cattle knocked it over and broke the thread of the vaporiser in the head and the spark plug lead was missing. I have bored and sleeved a new thread into the vaporiser and overhauled the magneto.The crank, flywheel & fuel cap numbers are matching.
