24023	BDC	1946	Running	I bought it in early 2014 and very slowly, until a week ago, progress was slowwwwwwww. This afternoon, at 4.43 and 20 seconds, (2017) on my son second go at starting, it rocketed to life and never wavered. After a few minutes we turned it off, tightened myriad loose nuts and hooked up a temporary water supply

Was sold to neighbouring Ernestina Plains Station in 1970 and used to drive overhead shearing gear in that shed. Has not been used since 1993. All original condition including fuel tank and supporting brackets and plaques. Still runs and starts well. (2019)

38100	BDC	1950	Restoration Started	Originally used on Flinders Is. as a genset. Purchased by grazier at Avoca, (north Tas) and used to run a shearing shed. When mains power connected 1970 (?) motor put out in paddock. When collected in late 2005, the motor was complete but seized. It is on original base, but other parts (fuel tank, fuel tank stands, water tank) were scattered around property. Restoration started 07	Ted	Southern Tasmania
